Rankings Winners, Team Promotions/Relegations |
Congratulations go to the Balmoral C who win the league in the final game of the season, on Tuesday 6th May Sands B drew with Balmoral A
which took it to the final game between the Balmoral C and Balmoral A. The C were 3 - 1 up after the doubles and though the A team tried it was soon 6 - 1, Balmoral A could now play for a draw and came back with the next two frames. On the 6th singles Balmoral C captain Donald Young was staring at
defeat with Daniel Wylie missing a difficult black, Donald came to the table and cleared 5 reds and black to take the title.
Congratulations to the Jolly Harvester Team who will be Promoted to the Premier League next season, Sands A will play off against the Townhouse on 6th May to decide the other team who will play in the Premier league. The Normandy team will be relegated to the A league.
Congratulations also go to Worlds End 1 who gain promotion to the A League along with the Lochar Inn B in 2nd place. Coincidentally both the Worlds End and Lochar Inn's other teams will be relegated from the A League.
In the Ladies Singles the congratulations go to Karen Hay who came back from certain defeat after Adele Furfey potted black and white in the second frame making it a draw, Karen came back and took the third to win the title again.

The Premier League Rankings winner is Paul Harkness with 64 points, in the A League Andy Hollingsworth takes the title. Here are the Premier, A and B League ranking top 5, Barry Hay and Dean Murray will need to play off to decide the B League winner and 2nd place, Congratulations to all.
